We are proud to announce that we are expanding our funding to best-in-class organizations in the United Kingdom. These efforts will focus on providing high-quality veteran employment support to the men and women who served in Britain’s armed forces, helping to find jobs that leverage their skills and experience. The expansion of our activities will identify and forge partnerships with a select group of UK charities, which will be announced in the coming months. We will also announce a UK Advisory Board to help guide our activities there.
“Our expansion to the UK was a natural move - with a long-standing ally whose armed forces have served so closely with those of the US. Sadly, Britain’s military veterans continue to lag behind their civilian peers in finding high-quality jobs that take advantage of their experience, skills, and grit. Not only is that bad for the veterans themselves, it also deprives British businesses of highly talented and dedicated staff. We hope the support we are announcing today will go some way to reverse that situation,” said Dan Goldenberg, Executive Director of the Endowment.
We remain steadfast in our goal: to place 50,000 veterans into high-quality jobs by 2019. Now, when you support the Call of Duty Endowment, you are helping service members in both the U.S. and the U.K. get the career opportunities they’ve earned. They have sacrificed so much, and now it’s our turn to give back.
